Battery level in 1% increments

Double check you're running the pro version, and have uninstalled the free one. The time unplugged is at the far right of the notification text.

I had already uninstalled the free version, but the number that was there was time since the service started, not actual battery time. I suspect I'll have to charge to 100% before that is accurate. I saw "0:01:23" and didn't realize what it was. :D

So I unchecked temp/voltage, but they still were on the status. So I stopped the service and restarted the app and still there. So I rebooted the phone, then I noticed that's for the widget only. :D I think it must be Miller Time.

So andy......any chance of getting the 1% increments on the gingerbread Leak? it wasn't ever a big deal to me before (when we could only get 10% increments) but now that i have had it, i want it back :)

Huh? Works with first GB leak on my X and GB on my tablet. :D

Glanced through this thread. I concur that we need fab to get in here and publish a Gingerbread Rom with this code built-in so we can have built-in 1%.

What would be nice is it not resetting on rebooting.

I'm sorry I wasn't getting email notifications that people had posted in here. I will be sitting down to work on my app again this coming week. I hope to add some "learning" functionality to the voltage based option after these gingerbread leaks have changed things, and fix the time unplugged issue.

OK, Version 7.1 fixes the reboot problem with time unplugged (PRO Version only), I actually emulated the system version of "time on battery" in the battery usage stats, it doesn't reset the timer until it's fully charged. I'm on the GB leak version 4.5.588, and I noticed that the system timer in battery usage actually resets on reboot, so, maybe mine should too ?? thoughts anyone ?.

I would be happy to work with a ROM builder to get this working, I think it would be great to have it built in. I've already tried "hacking" the capacity file to show the value in the counter file, but when I do the system stops updating it. Maybe a ROM builder can get around this.

What do you mean by "system timer"? :D

I would think a reboot should change nothing in batt stats.

I agree, I don't think it should either, mine doesn't now and I'd personally prefer to leave it that way. The only thing I can think of is if someone has the phone switched off for several hours, then turns it on, the time unplugged would be misleading.

It looks to me like a reboot resets the timer the system uses in the battery usage stats screen. Maybe it's just the GB leak build I'm on.

Then you need to figure which is the more common scenario, "phone off" or "reboot".

I think most people leave their phone on. :D

I think you, sir, are right. I never switch my phone off, what kind of crazy person would leave their phone off ?. :D Even in the movie theater I put it on Vibrate only.

Same here. :D

Also a programmer (web) so understand how this works, just haven't moved to Android platform yet.
