Up until about 4 weeks ago all was well with my Nexus 7, during a normal day I'd use about 40% of my battery and used to happily top up each morning. On upgrading to 5.1.1 suddenly my battery was draining (regardless of use) within about 4 hours ! Tried various forum suggestions to no avail.
Last week Marshmallow arrived and suddenly my battery would last for 2 days. Battery optimisation was set by default for all except those for which "Doze" wasn't available, the world was a much better place !
Three days ago without any "noticeable" upgrade my battery is draining again, my perception is that it's possibly worse than with 5.1.1.
Doze still appears to be set for all apps.
Has anyone else experienced this ?
As an aside the apps shown as "battery users" are mainly system stuff but some apps eg Kindl and others which I haven't used for ages are shown, any ideas why ?
