Root Battery Life Help

Surprisingly, my battery life is really good! (I can get pretty much 2 days just using Task Killer). Anyways, I have looked at a few threads, but would like to hear from everyone specifically with this phone. I was thinking about getting Juice Defender and setting that up (it looks quite confusing so I would look at some Youtube videos)...anyways any suggestions (apps, etc)?

If your getting battery life that good already I wouldn't do anything else app wise. :)

alright, yea i mean if i do a lot of stuff on it i get a day easy, but just like texting nd a few little things here and there nd i can almost get 2 days using advanced task killer...i wanna try that juice app, but its so confusing

Also task killers hurt your battery life and interfere with androids memory management.....try uninstalling it l....very few people keep task killers after being made aware of it....the built in task manager can kill that random locked up app if need be

Have you downloaded JD? There an easy mode with an "on" switch. I don't know why you'd bother with that battery life though.

It's actually not complicated at all. I use JD and it gets me probably about 12-18 hours of battery with mild internet use and heavy texting.

I use advanced mode myself, but the main thing to remember is when your peak/sleep times are and remembering to enable "prefer wifi" on. Wifi uses less battery than 3G.

It seems like there is so much controversy regarding ATK and Juice Defender...also when JD is going, does it still run when you kill it with task killer?...maybe thats a stupid question...I just have JD running now on easy mode with Prefer WiFi on and GPS is off

uv kernels help batt life as much as anything else IMO. There is so much you can do. Live wallpapers use more juice than static of course. Gosh there are almost too many tricks to list to improve batt life
