okay, so im going on a camping/white water rafting trip, and there is going to be no where to charge my evo. i can barely get my evo to last a full day. obviously i will be texting and browsing less, so that will help. But how can i make it last from friday to sunday? or at least get close. i am rooted fyi.

turn off mobile. 3g is a battery hog. use it only when you need it. you can use the widget to turn mobile on and off. long press homescreen and select widgets then scroll down to settings, select mobile. now you can toggle 3g on and off whenever you want.

Turn everything off background data off it's a hog turn of 3G in the wireless and network settings turn off all location options turn off haptic feedback if u have it on set your brightness lower then you usually have it
