Battery Life

I can't seem to get my phone to last more than like 8 hours when I am reading of others who are able to use up to 3 days on a single charge. Any ideas?

I am currently running CyanogenMod-6 nightly 9-21-10 kernel #13.

First, you can wipe battery stats in recovery and see if that helps

You can also try the battery tweak Collin_ph Battery Tweak RC1 for Cyanogen / Darch Froyo roms (possibly others) - xda-developers
