Battery life?

Yes but the resolution of the display on the SGS2 is 800x480 vs 1280x720 HD on the GNex. Won't having to push more pixels drain more battery?

That's good point. Maybe so for GPU intensive games written for HD resolution. Otherwise it won't be much different on power consumption. So that leaves LTE, but so are Razr, Rezound.

Yeah but no one knows for sure what the drain will be like. I have a feeling its not going to be much better than the TB. 300mah. Bigger screen? Don't get your hopes up.

Samsung is usually pretty good with battery life. i mean look how much better the charge battery is compared to the tb. BMX said battery is very similar to the bionic which doesn't seem to be that bad and pretty good for an lte device.

Well, then howcome Bionic lasts nearly twice Tbolt with higher resolution screen, dual core? Tbolt was plagued with inefficient 3G/4G radios and firmwares but that doesn't mean all LTE phones will be just as sucky. And there is chance verizon nexus will have battery larger than 1750mah in GSM one.

Plus the stratosphere has an 1800 mah battery so if worse comes to worse you could most likely use that battery in the nexus since both batteries appear to be same size.

Honestly? What is your version of moderate use vs my version? I've seen people categorize heavy usage as browsing the net for one hour.

All i know is i've gone 52 hours on my TB without barely using it. Like maybe to make one text. I think it topped out at 59 hours.

If i were to leave my phone on all day and not touch it, with half brightness I lose 1% every 5minutes. Not entirely shabby.

After a full charge before going to bed. I wake up with anywhere from 88-92% on my battery. Using a prior rom I would average 1% per every idle hour. The current rom uses maybe 1.3% per idle hour. I do not have multiple apps grabbing updates every hour, either. Even if i did it would be two. Maybe 2% per idle hour.

On moderate usage or aka average use (ie., Browsing net for 1 hour 5-10 texts, hour of music). I am probably around 40-50, maybe 30. That would still get me through the day if i made some texts and a call. Anything more than that and yeah im charging the phone once a day. 4g for 9 hours.

So, I dont know. How much better is the bionic? I couldn't imagine the dual cores being more efficient when running through 4g since they both use the same radios, no? I couldn't imagine games being kinder to dual core and a higher resolution screen.
