Help Battery temp?

The average battery temperature is going to be relative to the ambient temperature that your handset is in. So, if you are in a place that is room temperature, your handset will be around that temperature at idle unless you have a lot of stuff syncing or updating while it is asleep.

If you are actively using or charging it, the temperature will rise of course. I know that is not very specific, but it is true.

No that was good info. I had to have my evo replaced because it failed sprints radio test. Just wondering if temp was culprit.

What was temperature of the battery? Anything over forty to forty-five degrees Celsius should only happen if it is really working hard for awhile.

Charging can bring it close to forty degrees Celsius if you are in a fairly warm room, but usually its a lower in my experience. It also starts to drop in temperature the closer to fully charged that it gets. This is why it is hard to give an average battery temperature. There are a few variables that can make the norm for a handset vastly different from that of another one.
