I am looking at flashing Tommy Tomatoes Classic Sense 1.0 ROM. Is there a download to add Beats Audio to it? I notice that ROMS like SS_Ultra Updated 9/4/12!! [ROM] 5.07.651.1 SS_Ultra v4.2 - xda-developers have it. I would like to add it to this ROM if possible.

i have not seen anything specific with beats by itself. but i did find this:

the op recommends it on sense 3.5 though. just make a nandroid backup and try it.

how could htc crack down on that app? if youre on a custom rom, and someones got the apk to distribute it, how is that even possible? and if youre suggesting that its proprietary to htc, i have it on my s3's stock rom (well, its a modified stock rom, but it was on the stock rom too)

No, Beats audio is exclusively an HTC thing. HTC owns it.
Unless that app is somehow an official beats audio app (I highly doubt it is), HTC should have every right to have it removed from the app store

Sorry, I mean are the .zips in that link the beats audio that is stock on many phones? And how are the .zip files different from the app store apk.?I'm not sure what you mean
not sure if they are the same, but it looks like it accomplishes the same thing. couldn't tell what version of beats are in both. i think the app installs beats while the xda link you will have to do it yourself.
