Okay guys I've been off of the forums for a little while and it seems like a new GB Leak has come out everyday I was gone lol.

So im currently running the first GB Leak that came out (.573 I believe) from what I have gathered the most current leak is .591.

Am I correct in thinking I need to -- SBF to .340 > install .588 > install .591.. or am I making it harder then it needs to be?

Thanks alot in advanced for any help you guys can provide, Im looking forward to getting up to date so I can try out the new ApeX or Liberty builds!

I've been out too..Quite sometime...Running Fission 2.6.1 on. 340

Thinking about tooling around again. What are the best steps? Thanks!

if your on a froyo rom you need to sbf to stock, and then root, and flash to gb
if your already on gb, just wipe data and cache and install over it

Thanks for the responces guys.

Steven I checked the individual threads and still can't get confirmation that I can install .591 over .573 with just a data/cache wipe, normally I would just go for it but my computer is down so I would like to minimize my chance of bricking lol.

Voidedsaint are you saying I can go from .573 to .591 with just a data and cache wipe, you said if your on GB you can go straight to the new leak I just wanna confirm we are speaking of the same version of GB

Thanks so much for your help and patients lol

I installed .588 directly over .579 without any trouble without wiping data/cache. I would try it.

I think your best bet is to SBF back to 2.340.
Then do the 3 part to .588 (three zip files all must be done consecutively in Clockwork without rebooting)

Then do the .591 (No need to wipe data and cache from .588 to .591)

If you try to go from original leak to .591 you miss the baseband update that was in .588

this is a negative, you can just flash .588 overtop the original, and then flash the .591

its all gb just version numbers are different
whats the worst that can happen if you go from .571 to .591? you brick? you sbf back to stock and then flash .591 :p i would try to flash .591 over top the original cant hurt anything, you can always recover your device

Ok, so you can go from .571 to .591 but isn't there a baseband update in .588 that isn't present in .591 thus missing it if you go .571 directly to .591

So his quickest would be .571, .588, .591 then to ensure he gets everything.

That is what I was trying to tell him to make sure whatever he does to get to .588 at some point in time.

ok got ya, when you were saying SBF back to 2.3.340 i was like um no lol,

but if he messes anything up a simple sbf fixes all, then he can go directly to .591 i do believe

Alright, so I tried flashing .591 over .573 and I got a message saying something like "bad zip, install aborted" so I re downloaded and tryed again, still got the same message. So I downloaded the 3part .588 leak, and tried to flash pt. 1 got the same exact message... I then re-flashed .573 and that worked perfect I also flashed the juicecomb theme with zero issues.

Any ideas guys? Thanks alot :)
