Root Before I do anything I want to make sure.

My Connect 4G is on Stock ZV9 rooted debloated, and CWM touch. I want ZVA, but there's no zip for it, so do I use the update tool to get it? And will it remove my root + CWM?

EDIT: Also, oc'ing on Stock ZVA, what kernel should I use? I heard Plague had some problems, and that's the only kernel aside from flashing BrokenOut, and I want to wait until that develops a little more first.

You currently can't overclock on stock ZVA. Only ROM that supports overclocking is BrokenOut. When you update using the LG update tool it will remove root and CWM.
 
No problem. Keep in mind that after flashing you may see under your phone settings it might still say zv9. The reason for that is a long one but you're definitely on zva.
 
dont bother. Get the ~$6 1900 MAH battery for the Optimus Black on ebay out of Hong Cong. Stops most battery problems you can have with the Connect and still fits in the stock compartment.

Can you post a link to this battery? I've looked all over and couldn't find a 1900mah for the connect
