A bit of a snide reply to a new user considering how long you've been on here yourself. I've only just joined myself and have found everyone to be very helpful and enjoyed a bit of banter.
Wifinder (better UI for locating & connecting to hotspots, hate the way this is handled by default)
Colornote (notepad with some cool features)
Mixzing (mp3 player with nice UI & recomendations)
But I use the browser a hell of alot more than I did on an iPhone 3G. In fact even if Andriod didn't have any 3rd party apps it would still be awesome. And HTC have put a beautiful veneer on top of it with Sense.
Tough question. Assuming that things like the browser, email, text etc don't count then I would say Newsroom - my entertainment on my commute each day aCurrency - incredibly useful if you travel a lot c:geo - has allowed me to do the odd bit of impulse geocaching when I don't have my OS GPS, or haven't loaded it with caches
Reserve is Scrabble - for those moments following my gf around while she clothes shops
