In my opinion the S3. I think the best Android phone is based on personal preference.
Some would say the S3, but others would say otherwise such as the One X, Galaxy Nexus, or other devices. In the end it matters what you think, but I think the S3 is.

Well I'd say Note 2 or S3. Note 2 is the newest that I have now but I have tested the S3 and it is awsome too. Thou the Note 2 is a bit big for a female hand it still has some killer specs and I really like to fool around with the Spen

I've been a fan of the EVO series, since thats what I've personally owned.
I've got to play with the S3 and it rocks.
I've got to play with the Note2 and it rocks.
I've got to play with the Droid Razr MAX and it Rocks.

If I had to choose right now I would have to go with the S3, but my Note 2 is just as amazing and is growing on me daily.

It's the Nexus 4. No phone can beat its specs, pure Android, fast updates, great pricing, beautiful screen, amazing build quality... There really isn't a single phone that can beat it, and there won't be one for several months at least

Its the wrong answer for best because of its stupid unexpandable 16GB memory. come on Google! If there was a 32GB version perhaps. But against a 64GB SIII or Note 2, or a 32GB One X, it won't even get into my wish list.
I think the Nexus 4 might be a good phone for the United States, because the full range of Google cloud storage options are available there, e.g. Google Music. I wouldn't bother with one here, I need a large SD-card in my phone, for all my music, videos, etc.

I think the S3 will probably take the title, I'm not a fan and think the best Android phone out at the moment is the HTC One X+, specs are great, camera great, storage great, battery.. ok Sound quality great, Jellybean, best looking phone on the market easily and that screen, the finest screen on any android phone (we can't get the droid DNA so haven't seen it yet)
Davoid, there are rumours that we are getting a version of the DNA called HTC Deluxe, hoping it has more storage in it then I think it could be the best phone on the market.

I love my HTC Desire Z because of the physical keyboard. I was very upset when the battery died and I had to get a new phone. Got the SGS3. I hated the fact that it does not have a physical keyboard. Other than the lack of a physical keyboard, the SGS3 is awesome. It took me 4 months to get use to the touch screen keyboard, thanks to Thumb Keyboard. For a long time, I was planning to switch to the next landscape slider keyboard phone available for my carrier. I have finally gotten over that now.
Im gonna go with the S3 for a few reasons. The first and foremost is because i have it
Other reasons are the stuff Sammy have put into the phone with its Smart features and the little extra touches with popup player and the soon to be available multiview windows so you can use two apps at once, not to mention it seems to have a great community working behind it with ROMs and kernels choices (although theres plenty of phones with them last two options)

Anything with Samsung and Galaxy in the name is good. HTC's one series is good too. I have a Galaxy S3 on AT&T and love it. Don't like the service, but I love the phone.

I had a ton of issues with signal and GPS on my GSII, really gave me a bad impression of Samsung's quality. Not to mention the slower than dirt OS updates and how bad they made ICS look compared to how it looks on a Nexus phone.

I recall that the original Galaxy S had some GPS issues. I actually considered getting it, but backed off because of those issues. I ended up first sticking with my Nokia N97 and then later getting the HTC Desire Z instead at the time.
I have the SGS3 now. I have not had any GPS issues at all. It seems to be just as good as my Desire Z with regard to the GPS.
