I'm using Battery Left with a Seido 1750. I really like the app. One problem:
At first it read Accuracy Excellent. Now it reads Moderate. I have tried recalibrating but it still shows moderate.
Anyone else have this problem or a fix ?
Am in process of recalibrating. (installed on day one when couldn't put phone down, know i get more outta phone than estimate) Question is do i need to run it down till it shuts off?
I'll try it again but I had let it run down until it shut off. I then let it go for 2 hours after it had shown a full charge. When I powered it on again it still said marginal.
Im a little on the fence with that app so far. I've had it for a few days now and its says its accurate but the % left never matches the HTC battery widget. Weird thing is, as soon as you plug it in, the % changes to what the HTC widget says. I like the looks of this widget, just dont really think its spot on accurate.
I don't seem to have a HTC battery widget, but I'm sure I'm just being dim!

Mine is all out of whack...system battery shows 70%, Battery Left says 47%. It also says "Accurate." Far from it. According to the app, I have a little over 3 hours remaining.
Do I need to recalibrate?
Is the calibration sequence charge to full, select recalibrate, and use until it is dead?
Are you using Sense?
If you are using a diffrent launcher you can't use any of the HTC Widgets
Yeah, sounds like you definitely need to recalibrate. Charge to full, turn on calibration. Let the battery go down to like 5-10%, and then you can recharge. After a few of these cycles, it should be pretty darn accurate.
Note: Changing battery sizes will result in the estimates being way off.
How do you "turn on" calibration? Is this an option within the Battery Left widget?
I love the widget, by the way.
How do I get a meter to show on one of my screens. I downloaded the app
IMO yes, it can show you what apps are using gps, cpu, which ones are keeping your phone 'partially awake'Is it worth having one of these apps? I mean don't they poll the battery somehow in order to provide the stats? I would think this would be an unnecessary use of battery drain.

The only thing I don't like about the HTC widget is how small the icon is.
