I've literally tried them all and I always end back up at Opera Mini. Dolphin, puffin, maxthon, firefox, aurora, yada yada yada. Each one has something that is off. I wish they would hurry up and bring chrome over to GB so we can try that ish out.

I used a couple secure websites for my work, and they only work correctly with Microsoft Internet Explorer. On desktop PC, those websites do not work with Firefox or Chrome.

Those websites are a problem on Android and iPhones/iPad. They do not work with Boat, Dolphins or Maxthon. So far, I've found only one browser that partially works: Opera Mobile (not the mini version). Even with Opera, a few secure features on the websites do not render correctly.

What would make the android stock browser choppy and sticky but Dolphin HD brower smooth? I would think it is the other way around?

Also, theres some news sites tht the stock browser stays stuck in "loading video" but the same site will load flawlessly in Dolphin HD?

How come there's updates to every other google developed app (i.e. map) but never an update posted for the stock browser in "the market"

Because the browser isn't a google app.... It's just a browser they update google chrome though ;)

You are right, i did not post that correctly. I guess what i "Meant" to say i was , the Browser is a standard unremovable app where you have to be rooted in order to get rid of the standard browser. So the question should have been: why doesnt this app get updated like other "unremovables' , causing such a prob on a device?

Can you post a link to the "markets' latest google chrome? Maybe others will benefit from it. I've pretty much went back to Dolphin HD even though there was a privacy issue going on last year.

Chrome is in beta but working fine however its for 4.0+ devices so it won't be of much use to you guys

I get what you mean but the browser isn't a product of google, its kinda like expecting the stock music app to get. updated

You are right. I tried downloading the beta version but got the imcompatible message.

Boat. Given its seemingly advantageous zoom, speed, light weight & responsiveness--compared to the other big names-- seems like the ideal mobile web browser:
It feels like it's been created by someone who is able to browse the web on mobile phones only, ergo by force has created something useful and reliable.
The other big names just seem like they've created by folks who don't do any serious mobile phone browsing or fall back to a larger gadget whenever trouble is encountered.

(For a quick browse or download stock is good enough though)

For example, Opera has many great features, but right off the bat shoots itself in the foot with its subpar zoom feature.
