Best Buy - $100 off captivate

Best Buy is giving $100 off of the Captivate for Reward Zone members. Log into your Reward Zone account and print the coupon. Good until 10/6/2010.

YMMV: Some people are reporting that it's for new customers only while others were able to upgrade for and renew for $50. My advice - find a cool Best Buy manager :)
 
Click "Offers and Partners" -> "Features Offers" -> Click on to page two of the offers... should be at the bottom.
 
I found it, after reading above. You DO need to scroll to the second page.

Meh...can only use it once. I'm about to purcahse two. I am sorely tempted to get the Vascinate from Verizon, as I can get them for .01 each.

instead of $150

WHAT A DEAL!!

that means if they charge you the $30 for the activation fee you still end up with about $70 left over from the the $150

you deserve many Thanks!!!

I think it means it's $99 with coupon, instead of $149
 
It does say an additional $100 at the top, but below it it says:
"From September 30 – October 6, 2010, Reward Zone

Struggling with .02 for 2 Fascinates, vs $250 for 2 Captivates (after using the BB coupon).

But I"m also trying to decide if the Captivate is really the better choice. Decisions, decisions.

Haha. Hey check out engadget, they're reporting an new Verizon galaxy s with a super amoled and an amoled. The amoled is at the bottom of the phone and shows notifications and date/time. Pretty cool if you can hold out for it.

This might just prompt me to get back in on a Captivate. However- he timing of this is kinda weird... especially if we remember what else Best buy has going on too. They are also having Free Phone Fridays- and this weeks it the Aria, and next weeks will be announced on Thursday. This offer here expires on Wednesday...hmmm.

What are the chances that the Captivate is the free phone next week?

I wonder if you can just return it and get it for free, if that's the case.

I read somewhere that it is a Fascinate tomorrow. Are you sure about the Aria?

In any event, I'd like to see it be a Captivate, but then we could pass up this savings to get that, and then have it not come through.
 
Ok - I just got back from Best Buy and got the $100.00 rebate. I had bought the plone on Sept. 7th. First they said I would need to return the whole phone and start over. Then she talked to a manager and he said just refund the rebate.

I can't find it. Went over there, put in Fascinate for search term and only fine stuff about the regular Fascinate.
 
I just got back from best buy. After being directed there, the folks at the phone section said that it was only for new customers.

Superdog, are you a new customer or upgrading?
