well regard less of what the system says its better than nothing, at this point however long it takes im holding out for this tbolt
 
Thanks for the reply, jay! So to get the price match, do I have to bring in an ad or something? Or can I just say, Verizon is selling it for 6xx.xx, so I think I will just go get it there.
 
Jay, I have a question for you. I called Verizon today to confirm something and I found out that I was given the wrong update date for my wife's line. Actually, that isn't entirely true...I knew the date was 3/12 for her update, but when I called them on Saturday, they said they would have no problems letting me upgrade a bit earlier when I receive my Bolt. So, I went to BB and did the $50 down thing... Now, I find out that they cannot do the upgrade until 7 days before the 12th (5th), so now if the Bolt comes out as you predicted and BB calls me to tell me it is in, I won't be able to upgrade! I'm a bit pissed and bummed to say the least, so my question to you is, how does BB handle these situations? I'm going to lose my reserve, right? They won't hold it for me until the 5th will they? And now I'm screwed for the free Buy Back too, right? I'm afraid I know the answers to all of my questions, but I guess I'm looking to you for a little hope. Thanks. -Joe
 
I think i can answer that. The pre order guarantees you a TB on launch day as long as there in stock. If you can't get in on launch day. Then your in the same boat as everyone else. First come first serve. There not gonna hold a TB for days until you can go get it.

Anybody have any ideas for a work-around considering I'm only a few days off and they won't budge?
 
Call Verizon and ask if they can move up the date. I tried to upgrade a best buy and they told me to do this and that Verizon, in the past, has moved peoples dates up by a week or two. Mine was about 2 months out so they wouldn't do it for me but told me to try again closer.

We only hold preorders/internet orders for 7 days, from the 24th that'd be the 3rd.

That's just my luck.
Do you know of any tricks that I can pull by adding a line for just a few days and then backing out, since it would be like a trial or something? (Grasping at straws...haha)

Thank you...but sadly it was VERIZON itself that told me they wouldn't do it. :(
 
You guys hold preorders? Wow that's cool. MY BB said they will not hold them. And they aren't gonna call the preorders customers. They will just have to come up there on their own.
 
hey jay word on the street is that a best buy in chicago, will be selling them tomorrow. located at N. Riverside on Harlem & Cermak . highly doubt the validity of there people but thats whats new
 
I just pre-ordered mine. The loverly girl said they are still targeting the 24th. Was able to use a BB gift card to pay for the pre-order. Which is good because I get gas discounts by purchasing gift cards in our local grocery chain.

I am officially #7 pre-order at this particular BB.
 
I pre ordered mine. But i still plan on just going to BB before we open and getting checked out before we open our doors :). Especially is Jay is certain of the 404.25 price for employees. Which im still nervous about lol
