Well considering it is from a "blog" called Droid Attic, that I have never even heard of... And the fact that if this were true other Blogs like Android Guys or even Phandroid would be all over it, I'm gonna go with this is a joke.

Agreed, this blog has only been around for less then a month as far as I can tell, so the fact that they heard it from: "one of our most reliable Best Buy contacts" seems strange. How can a brand new blog have a "reliable contact" that no other, much more established, android blog has.
 
Is there anyone who works for verizon on here who may know when the launch date is too. I called verizon customer service last night and the guy said he had no idea and he said he checked google and still nothing. Why is verizon doing this to their devoted customers.

To piggyback off of this, when I was doing all of my pleading with the Verizon reps and managers to get my update date moved to the 24th, to paraphrase he said "...fine, I'll do it because there isn't even a release date on this thing yet and I don't see it coming out any time soon, so it is really no skin off of my nose..." Either way, I was happy he adjusted it. My point is not to create rumors that this phone isn't coming out, but rather how the Verizon people are really in the dark. He actually said the BB people wouldn't know anything before Verizon since it is their network after all. I just stroked his ego, because he was on the cusp of changing my date, so I played nice. It really is an interesting situation regardless of who is right or wrong.

The CEO of HTC told a reporter at MWC I believe it was an editor from Engadget that the TB was shipping this week.

Why would the CEO of HTC say the phone is shipping this week if there are production issues.

Exactly what I was saying! Seriously, this phone has not been "delayed" yet at all. There was never a set date by HTC or Verizon, I've said this before, the only date that was ever given by HTC or Verizon (before the CEO of HTC said they were shiping this week) was 1st Q 2011. So if we are going by that date then they have until March before you can call the phone delayed.

The only thing delayed are the various leaks and rummors being thrown around by blogs.
 
So went to buy the Icrap4 cause I've been waiting forever to get a new phone and mine is currently barely working right now.. I first asked if they could tell me when the TB was coming out and he gave me kind of a run around; I told em I had heard the 14th and needed a new phone bad. Then the rep at the verizon kiosk in the mall told me the 21st after I told him I was going to get the iphone because I was tired of waiting; the look on his face was worth waiting 5 more days if he turns out to be right. Either way, I'm getting myself a new phone on the 21st, I really hope its the TB... if its the 24th and the verizon guy can prove to me he has phones in stock on the 21st but cant sell them...maybe I'll steal myself a bit more patience for the 24th.

I trust Androidguys a little more, but there date at least makes sense... They are saying the 28th which is just 4 days off, that would allow time to get the stock in and put it out.

Again though none of this is a "delay"...
