Best Buy Details

Just went into BestBuy and this is posted right in front of where the mobile reps are... Sorry everyone...

The reps at BB had no real information about why TB had been delayed or when it would be released. On a good note, they had a stand put to display the TB and it had a sign giving TB specs, etc., but there was no mock unit attached to the stand.

This may be a trivial question and probable not in the right spot, but everyone here seems to be pretty knowledgeable...

Does anyone know how the little light that indicates that you have a message or notification will be on the Bolt/ I only ask because I went from a BB Tour to the Inc over the summer and the Inc's little flashing light is so small it is easy to miss. This is not important at all really ,I'm just bored and waiting for this phone so if anyone knows, that would be great. Thanks in advance.

Yea, I went to my local Verizon retailer yesterday and they guy there said he hadn't heard anything and would check his system. A couple minutes later I heard the thunder from the Verizonwireless website. We both laughed, only I laughed at how clueless he was. He eventually told me to come back in a month to see if they heard anything. lol. so much for that.

It has a small light behind the speaker grill on the left, at least a the picture we saw a long time ago.

You are welcome. I'm a bit dismayed right now. I know it's just a phone but I'm switching from T-mobile and I'll probably be without a phone or with a prepaid gophone thingie until this thing pans out. I am going to get this phone. I know it's not a dualcore. But I don't want a Motorola, I don't want a Samsung, neither I do I want AT&T, and I don't want any of the outdated HTC phones that Verizon currently offers. So, I'm stuck awaiting this phone... basically. I think it is going to be great one it comes out, whenever that happens.

I used to work for at&t and I wouldn't go back. We had a ton of employees that
Had Verizon for cell service, that tells yo a lot.

I am in the same boat. Waiting for the TB with my t-mobile prepaid phone since the 26th of January....It sucks....and as much as I would like to have the TB I really will have a look at the Atrix on Tuesday....
 
Oh, we all know at the end of the day it's not that bad, right? I mean we're talking just a tad longer until the 24th. And how great will it be showing that receipt to the dude at the BB entrance and driving away with the T-bolt on that day??!! Should be a very cool phone.

Otherwise, think I'll download some new apps. for my dinc and appreciate it all over again for my final week with it. After all, it remains a cool phone even now - and many of us also are having that deja-vu experience recalling what we went through to get it! So, I kinda feel like I should enjoy it a while longer...or something useful like that.

In the meantime, I may just return to some routine...spend time with my family again...take in a movie...shower....:)

Hi there, just wondering if you can clarify something for me. Do me mean Thurs, Fri or Sat? Has BB ever released a phone on a Sat? This is the first time I have dealt with them, so I'm not sure of their practices. Thanks!

I agree, the ad correction is just basically saying its not available yet, doesn't say its TBD. The fact they mention that Skype won't be available says we'll definitely see this launch before the end of the month if the Skype message is still in Verizon's system as Feb 28th especially...

and about that New Jersey thing on the ad, I think it relates to the info on policies, and Verizon's corporate headquarters and warehouse on the East Coast is in New Jersey, there are other warehouses that distribute Verizon devices, but the main thing here is talking about policies and disclaimers

kinda how when you order something from your same state that you have to pay the sales tax for it if it ships from the same state its being delivered

atleast thats my theory on why New Jersey is called out there

kinda also how California is called out on return policies and warranties

And Jay...I think we all better let you relax a bit on your duties of being a BB mole...before you put whatever your real BB duties are at risk. Errrr...just make sure you have enough stock for all of us before you take a rest, though. :)
