I don't think you understand. I live in a small town full of cowboys and old people. No one here knows what it is. This shop was a tiny rundown shack, all it had was a small display case/counter with a handful of dummy phones in it. This poor guy sits there on his stool all day eating his microwave pizza all alone. I would be surprised if he gets more than 2 or 3 people in there a day, let alone 50,000 questions.

edit: hmm, its VERY hard to believe its Saturday again already... maybe all the rumor reading is making the anticipation make time pass faster :D
 
The thunderbolt (henceforth known as the OG Bolt) was cool last year when we heard about it. Now, the specs are nothing compared to the other phones that are out there. Good job Verizon. Why don't you add 'Outdated out of the box' to your list of features, right where 'Integrated Skype' used to be.

Nothing has changed in the last month in regards to this. You are upset, but you would not be in this thread if you really thought the phone was outdated. The launch of this phone has not caused it to be "outdated".
 
Took a little break from the forums, but couldn't stay away from 2 different BBs today. I'll spare you all the details this time around though.

I am still excited about this phone, if it ever releases.

Jay- can't wait for you to get to work either, although I'm doubtful there will be any new news.

If thats the case, no news is good news since it wouldn't be another "they delayed it again" news update, plus we'll find out tomorrow if they post an ad correction or not, if they don't, its definitely next week
 
I wonder how many employees at bb just reiterate the info from the web. Like delayed until march 10th from battery problems because it sounds like theY read it from engadget lol. I will just believe it when it's out.

You keep saying that Verizon has done nothing wrong and they never gave a release date. They did give us Q1, and febrero. And do you think every best buy employee made up the 14th as a release date when they were taking pre-orders? No someone told them that. I dont know what you consider an official release date, but I would consider taking pre-orders and giving a specific date to be official. Putting ads out that don't say coming soon means to me that it is currently available.

Verizon know that we think the bolt is going to come out any day now and that we are going crazy for it. At what point do they stop saying 'we know something you don't know' and start saying 'The thunderbolt is not ready yet. we are not sure how long it is going to take to fix whatever it is' or give us a date past when they think it will be available and make us all happy by releasing it before then.

The only reason I am still here is because this will still be the best phone available from Verizon. Just not for as long as it should have been. I'm in dire need of a phone right now and it doesn't make sense to me to buy an outdated phone and start off behind the game.

They still have not given a release date.
 
Couldn't they post a correction even if there's still a chance for it to come out this week? Since there isn't an offcial date yet.

Maybe this Thursday, maybe the following week, maybe next month. Either way there is a chance, even if it's small chance, it could be this week. What are the chances they print a retraction just to cover their a$$es and the phone releases this week anyway? Or vice versa, they try and save face, take their chances and don't print one?

I'm clearly overthinking all of this lol
 
here, let's settle this once and for all. whether it was publicly announced or not, Feb 14 WAS supposed to be release day and the phone HAS been delayed.
