Best Buy Details

Stopped into BestBuy today and they had the Correction at the front door and in the Wireless Dept. Pretty much the same as last weeks with new dates on it.
 
It's all a crock. If the phone is delayed due to the rumored battery issue, they're gonna have to update a LOT of devices that "were" ready for shipment, and that's AFTER they finally develop a "fix" for the issues...

Put your tray tables up, let your seat back and get ready for a long ride.
 
Lovely, called my Best Buy to double check what they told me earlier in the week. Actually mam the phone has been delayed indefinitely now. We don't have a date.
 
I've just about had it with this delay shit! for what its worth my delievery report has major shipments to BB and VZW this week big f-ing deal! i had the same shit last week! I dont want u guys to jump on me if its not TB so i will apologize ahead of time! and really whats with the price jump? bunch of crap!!! i keep hearing its because of the iphone really? why do we have to suffer because of a shitty phone? ill keep u posted guys
 
Yeah, well it would have to be the tb because they already have all there accessories and stuff and all the zoom stuff ias already there, but what day are the shipments for
 
Went out to lunch this afternoon down by the mall, and conveniently BB is down there. My husband and I are buying ours at full price, and we were told that they would only price match on the full price not the upgrade price. So if your buying it full price, you can bring in an ad for the difference. Just letting you know what I was told today. I'm not saying they WONT price match on an upgrade, those were the sales guys words not mine.

what day are those shipments slated for....and can you tell me your route, and at what time you make your stops...so i can hijack you :p
 
When I preordered i was told 699, and I have talked to bb so many times since then and was never told different so that is the price I will expect when I go in there. If that isn't the price I get I will return the gift card and go to verizon to get it.

Thanks for the update? lol. Its the same price as the closest comparable iPhone, the problem is that this phone does not compare to the iPhone. It compares to every other android device Verizon has released. Why wouldn't they price it near those? 50% more? That is ridiculous. Here's to hoping for $249.99 (is it sad I'm are hoping for a price that is already higher than it should be?)
 
Just for addtional confirmation, Best Buy will honor my $50 New Every Two credit, correct? When I preordered, they said they honor it for everything but the iPhone.

Did you ask for your additional $25 gift card from the manager? I think one guy even said he got an additional $50 gift card.

The manager wasn't there, but I did leave a message for consumer relations. Hopefully they will return my call about the FOUL attitude I encountered yesterday. The girl hung up on me after getting huffy about having paying customers waiting in line for items they did have. THAT didn't go well.
