I am getting excited as well. I was traveling in Vegas all last week, but I am going to start berating the BBM everyday at lunch.
 
even if a dual core htc comes out i would rather have the thunderbolt. its too early into the technology of dual core

an Embargo is a legal method that forces the person to not be allowed to SAY ANYTHING about such info and were they to release such info they would get sued or fined by the person that enforced the embargo

usually there only for a certain amount of days, 30 days, 90 days or the day specified, whichever comes first

its the same thing that the FCC has to abide by when a company like HTC requests certain information to be withheld from the public eye when devices are approved, until a certain date.
 
Does anyone know if Jay was supposed to work tomorrow? His BB is 15 minutes away from my office. Could always check in on the guy.
 
@gobluejd that would take a while! LMAO its sooooo weird how crazy people are getting about this. I don't remember any phone launch being like this

Incredible was way worse, it was months. This is childs play, this has only been since CES. Last year everyone was hoping they would announce the INC at CES. Talk about letting the air out of the tires.

Anyway hopefully we will see it this week. If not, I am use to it. Have my XOOM to keep me happy until I have the BOLT in my hands.

Love it. Got it for $599 and work picked up the 2yr monthly data charge. So far so good. I have been using my GF's iPad every now and then for the last few months, and I have to say I like the XOOM better. It will only get better when more apps comes out.

I'm turning in, i got work in a couple of hours... i would stay up and see what becomes of 3AM EST, but tomorrow's work day is a busy one, namely, unloading a truck

I guess since I didn't get wrapped up in the Incredible, I was more into the X :D, I didn't realize it got that crazy. I guess its that we've reach defcon3 in just a few days that it seems worse to me.

How is it size wise compared to the Ipad, a friend of mine has the ipad and I Never really liked it...
 
its shorter but wider that the ipad. pretty close to the same thickness. Xoom is heavier with softouch coating on the back. Overall it has a nice feel to it
 
don't get me wrong, I'm logged in and checking every hour, but I'm not going to stare at my screen and make the thunderbolt suddenly appear with mind bullets!
 
I stopped by BB today where I have a tbolt on presale.

They told me they still dont have a given release date, and that the delay isn't being caused by VZ, but HTC. They said the same thing happened with the EVO when they thought Sprint was the culprit, but it was HTC.

I'm sure we'll all get our phones soon enough. I just hope its thursday at the latest, as Im driving out to Vegas for the weekend.

Are we really all that desperate that we think a regular old Best Buy employees (no offense Jay) would be subject to any sort of communication black out - for what - the release of a smart phone? Come on guys, slap yourselves, wake up. I agree it is odd that we have not heard from Jay in a while but it means something other than what we all want it to mean.
