Any chance all BB's will be taking preorders?...I'm in the SouthBay..closest to me is on PCH Torrance.

Also, do you have to be a current Sprint customer to pre order or just buy it outright on June 4? With ATT...for now.

I did not mean a test unit as of now, I wondered if they would get one shortly before release, it's only a COMMON practice amongst stores that sell mobile devices.

Of course, this may not be the case for the EVO, and perhaps I should have phrased my question better. "Any possibility of BB or RS getting a test/display unit shortly before the EVO launches?"

It is not inconceivable that there would be one available a couple days or so before the launch. I assume certain BB's will receive training on the device.

Sorry, atleast your not whining about the 10 bucks! I did not know stores did that at all anyway! First phone I have ever got on launch day.
 
Seriously, why won't BB online let me pre order?

I want to order now. i WANT this phone yesterday. I'm willing to pay $200, or $300, whatever it takes to get this to me, ASAP.

Why am I starting off begging this company (these companies) to take my money. I get the feeling that I get in the beginning of many relationships I've gotten into. Uh oh.

Seriously, I need to go into a store 4 miles from here and beg them to take my money?
 
Radio Shack? I didn't know they were still around. I thought they folded after the Tandy 1000 folded.

For those of you who are as old am I am, you've gotta give me props on a system with 384kb of ROM. Yes, 384 of ROM, not a 386x system. Who else had a Vic20 before that?

Now, gimmee a true 4g phone already, Radio Shack, or Best Buy, or whomever!!!!!!

$199 is what I HEAR is what we'll pay tomorrow, in store, but I won't know until they take my money...which I'm begging them to do.
 
No you can't do it online, you have to go to a store.

I'm not yet a Sprint customer, can I still preorder the EVO from Best Buy?

Nice. The store I want to pre-order at is about 50 miles from where I want to pick up the phone at, so this is good news for me.

Yes it is but still I'd call the store as soon as the open to double-check. The local store here opens at 9am, i'll post back here with what they say to confirm.

I am due my upgrade on June 1st. Can I still pre-order at Best Buy and qualify for all of the upgrades, or do i have to qualify for the upgrade at the time I do the pre-order? Also, does Best Buy usually open early on the days the phones are released? Thanks!!

That's somewhat concerning, unless they ask specifically which store you intend on picking it up at. Otherwise, how can they guarantee that whichever store you end up going to will have stock?

it's just a list (i'm sure). nothing happens contract wise until you pick up/activate the phone.
