Root Best Evo Rom!!!! And kernel.

Ok. I know there are 3 billion of these posts. But most of them dont fit my needs.

Ok. What i want is awesome battery life, cool animations, something stock android, and lots of widgets(i hate the 10 widgets you get with stock). If anyone could point me in the direction of where i could find a rom + kenel that fits that would be awesome.

mikg2.45 still applies. not sure what you mean by cool animations. if it is boot animations then you can always change those. there is quite a few over on EVO 4G Q&A - xda-developers.

mik3d is a great sense 3.0

and evolved sense 3.0 rom

as far as kernels go there is only two for gingerbread sense, golden monkey and freedom kernel. there are tons of aosp kernels (try tiamat). and there are plenty of froyo kernels as well. just remember that kernels cant be mixed with other types of roms. gingerbread is for gingerbread and aosp is for aosp.
 
Ok. Also I tried out destroyer 2. But the battery drained in an hour.. is that a kernel thingor a battery thing? Cause if its kernel I will flash it again.

it could be a kernel thing. most roms rarely cause battery drain. try the tiamat kernel. and use the built in cm7 built in scaling and use a smartass governor. it has a screen off profile that should help with batter life.

I was about to recommend these two as well. For the kernel I would use Tiamat 3.3.7 sbc. You may also want to check out MIUI with say LaunchePro or ADW on top, a lot of people like the ROM but the ijoke launcher is terrible.
 
i think so, but i have not been on it since like last year. could have changed by now. read the op on xda and see. you can get the link in the rom/kernel sticky.
