Some very functional entries here. Wish I had that type of mind sometimes. However, perhaps we can see some stands that will look good without the Eris sitting on it. I have a night stand (credit card) and a wife who thinks I'm nuts with this phone. With a nice lucite looking stand I might be able to avoid the stares and someone might get some money out of me. Just thinking out loud here.

yeah, it does look good. i have 2 stands. one that's dirty and i can't upload it. lol my 3rd leg

I have one almosrt every day at lunch and I've saving them for some kind of prank on my cubicle nieghbor who's been temp relocated out of state. Not to step on this thread, but anyone have any ideas?

PS3 Controller Charger - Stopped playing the PS3 years ago... Charger useless... OR NOT?
Thanks for showing this great idea...I love it, have mine hooked up like this now as well. I would never of thought of using the PS3 charging dock.

Here's my take at a dock. I planned for a different dock, but I broke the base while fixing something, so that backing was all that could be saved. Yesterday, I noticed the cigar box, and realized that it would work and that I must finish making my dock. After about an hour, this is the result. The reason that the front of the box is broken is that I needed space for the screws, which hold on the backing, could slide on the box when I put the cap on. I then tried to slide the top with the cord in, but I couldn't. I had to take off a piece of the side for the top to come on, and it did. The cord is held in by quite a lot of tape, and I put a hole in the back for the other end of the USB cable to go through. I used some packing from a DVI to VGA adapter, which is slightly padded, to protect the phone from the wood. It really won't be needed when my case arrives. It works well so far. The pieces on the the left and right of where the phone rests are put there so the phone won't fall off, but they don't seem necessary. The phone can be moved around when plugged in, but I don't see a problem with that. It's only other problem is that the box is much heavier in the back, and I'll probably ending up putting something in inside the box to balance the weight.
