Help Best Keyboard for NC?

I just tried this, but when I click my link in my email, it tells me that I'm not using an android phone (this is probably due to my running Phiremod).

Anyone have any advice? I'd like to try out Swype on the Nook.

When I got that message on my NC running the CM7 N101, I just changed the user agent on my browser from desktop to Android, then when I went to get Swype link, it worked just fine. Installer downloaded and went through the process without a hitch. The stock version of Swype 3.0 is white, so it's a lot more attractive than that old grey and it has some great new features.

I don't know where it went actually, when I downloaded it to the Nook (from my dropbox) the application installer grabbed it and had it's way with it. I didn't check to see where it went, though I suspect that you're right.

It installed in /data/app.

Maybe someone can help me getting Swype installed. I registered with Swype, got the email and the apk file. Am able to start up the Swype installer file and put in my user info. When it's checking for the Swype version I get the following error message.

"Swype Installation Failed. There was a data error, likely due to a bad network connection. Please try again."

I know my wi-fi is working fine, so I'm not sure what the problem is at this point.

I was going to buy an Asus Transformer, but the more I read about the NC I think it sounds like a great deal. I really want Swype to work, that's all I use on my Optimus-V. Hope the new 3.0 works!

Swype version 3.5.83.26516 works perfectly on my NC.

Swype does indeed work, however *I* have found that I prefer the Thumb Keyboard on the NC. For me swiping is too long of a path on the NC (though it's all I use on my phone). I find it easier just to have a nicely laid out keyboard to thumb my way though the words.
