Im looking for a simple list app that has somewhat of a handwritten like look to it with a notebook/notepad like background and when you tap an item you have added to the list it strikes it out. any recommendations?

I guess you need like a to-do app? Try "Astrid", its not exactly what you asked for but its pretty close I believe.
EDIT: There's also an app called "gTasks", never used it but I believe it can sync with your gmail and calendar and all that fun stuff and has basic to-do features.

tried astrid but didnt really care for the feel of it. i liked my shopping list lite but it would force close suddenly. and other people have experienced the issue. one like that would work or even like the notes app on the ipod touch/iphone but would strike out the item after you tapped on it
