Root Best ROM for Performance/Speed?

I am insulted, you really would think i cant rename a file? lol just kidding? Messages have a green light!! Haha guys i cant thank you guys enough.

well the zip needed a slight change in the updater-script also... nothing big. but it may have caused problems.

glad you like it! :) do you think you could make us a video of the rom? like a first impressions or review? if not that ok. thanks

With Ziggy's upload yes it will improve image quality and change the VM Heap to 42 MB :)

i like how this thread is dominated by me, you, and jucery lol :p

*insert evil laugh here*

EDIT: also, when i get my new phone im porting this rom to it! i miss it :(

*Trying To Ruin The Domination Of Ziggy & MG*

Make sure to try bROM, and MIUI GB with SpeedDemon Kernel or mOCk; even though MIUI GB is a GB ROM it is a lot faster than Froyo is certain areas.

Will do, bRom looks really nice in the customization, haven't checked out MIUI, do these roms excel in the 3d visual performance?

I gotta admit MIUI looks beautiful with the right theme :D but I couldn't be without HDMI and I game often :) I found MIUI isn't good for gaming :(

But yea like austrie said you should just try out each rom and see how each one handles... You can always go back to minimal. :D

Well I graduated... High school anyways and will probably go into an apprenticeship eventually...

But yea try different roms. You can make nandroids of each one and switch between them if you really want. And a lot of the GB roms have had a lot of improvements done to them. Like Austrie has worked on his kernel for miui to make it run faster and smoother. And whyzor picked up the tab when tickerguy left and now G60 is taking over since whyzor is leaving. And of course all the people who have worked on the froyo roms (ziggy, mobster, and b_randon). And mantera has made a froyo kernel and has done a lot of work with cm9. But a lot of this is all thanks to Isaac and Tickerguy. But basically any rom you flash you can't really go wrong :D

well said brotha! :)

EDIT: Night guys... im tired lol :p

Alright done installing all the zip, any other mods i should do? attempting to fix GPS, and took of that thick ass screen protector, i can say it greatly increased sensitivity!

I've never had a problem with GPS it only takes about 10 seconds to lock on my location just used it the other day going to and navigating in Philly :)

I have a question and not sure if it has been asked before or if this is the right place for it..

Froyo based ROMS obviously have more features like HDMI, but I was wondering if it would be possible to have a Froyo based Cyanogenmod 6 ROM that would allow the stability and smoothness of Froyo but with the capabilities of native wifi and USB tether? Would that be worth pursuing? Just curious :)

Of course I know that with CM9 right around the corner with the possibilities of HDMI, it wouldn't be practical to pursue an older Cyanogenmod ROM, but again.. I'm just wondering..

I know people have already said it, but b_rom is unbelievably fast. I installed today. and it's ridiculous. I have yet to encounter lag
