Root Best root file manager

What is the best file manager for full acess to the file system for boot animations and splash screens. Also is it posible to add wallpapers into the rom so they show rather than using an app for adding wallpapers.

Root explorer is my go to for file managers. The ability to search is a life saver for finding files quickly

you do not need an app for wallpapers. any images you find as long as they are in jpeg format should work. you may need to use a photo editor like photoshop or paint(free) to resize the image.

as far as file manager goes, i use root explorer. not only can it read and write, but, it can do a search for files on the system partitions as well. the search feature is very handy as devs tend to hide where the bootanimation file is hidden. another good one is es file manager, but that one you can't do a search in the system partitions like you can with root explorer.

Thanks I have es file explorer but when i go to phone the sys folders it shows no files I think ill just buy root explorer. I wanted to also try to find some of the htc wallpapers and change the color. Thanks for the info.

with es file manger you have to change permissions. to do that go to menu/settings/scroll down to root explorer/mount file system
