I would say no on the task killer, as you have a task killer in manage applications, running services.
JIT is 'just in time'. If you enable it, it can speed up the phone
But some have trouble with it enabled and some don't. You'll just have to try it and see if it makes a difference but random reboots or freezes begin to happen, I would disable it

Some are in different places, some may enable through terminal emulator or some may have it in settings.

I don't think it necessarily an update for NFX. This [ROM] NFX Sprint 2.31.651.7 STOCK Deoxed/Odex Updated:9/27/2010 - xda-developers is based off of the recent Sprint update that they put out. If you are going to try, nandroid, wipe everything: data, Davlik cache and cache, then flash the rom
Okay, this may be a dumb question but here goes. I know how to wipe the data and the Davlik cache but where and how do you wipe the cache?

Some recoveries may not have the option to wipe cache (maybe RA 1.5.2, something like that), just make sure you wipe data and Davlik cache though

Just so we are on the same page, you do recognize this basic feature of Android was broke in previous Zen builds and required manual pull or polling. You get notifications at the top of your screen instantly from Gmail App after you recieve mail? This is great if so... now I don't know which too try. Zen or or NFX. I am getting tired of the lack off free space on Fresh 2.3.3 rom
interesting. so u are running zen now? and it is sense based correct? i'm going to update today, and am just deciding between zen and nfx. any quirks or caveats w/ zen i should be aware of?

nm. just read up on xda. appears regular zenrom is dead and zenexp is still going, but too many quirks for me listed on 1st page; i also don't want a new theme, and frankly, i don't think even fresh is that slow so i'm sure nfx will be a bump up. it also appears there is more attention to the nfx roms so when in rome...
