Help Best task killer for Fascinate?

What do you feel is the best task killer for fascinate? And do you think one is even nec?

I have used ATK and Android task killer. Not impressed with either. In fact the later made my phone freeze and blacked out my screen frequently until uninstalled.
 
Well if you have to use one i say use one that is built in. It is really not needed for the most part.
 
If I have to use one because of a misbehaving app, the built in one (Task Manager) works just fine.
 
Anybody here use fast reboot? Task killers aren't necessary. but for the root crowd, I've always used autokiller. Some will argue that it is a task killer, but its not. The android OS kills its own processes when memory reaches a certain point, autokiller just allows you to adjust at which point it starts to work.

im not going to rehash the task killer debate, but i will say this...almost every major dev on any android phone well throw something at you when you mention the word task killer.

if you root though like jreed said autokiller ENHANCES androids memory system so thats an option :)

Advanced Task Killer is what i use but only if i can't close a program and i'm forced to shut it down with ATK. but other then that i don't use anything since the phone comes with an auto one that works best
 
I use "Advanced Task Killer" on a regular basis and use "systemPanel" when i really want to clean things up. make sure to exclude things like your live wallpapers if your running one though. same with other widgets you dont want to get shut down.
 
I use ATK to bring the hammer down on apps that are malfunctioning, memory leaking, or have locked up. I don't have it set for any sort of automation though. Just my two cents.
 
No need for one. Long press on home for task manager and kill also you don't want open. BAM!

I agree. But, for example, if my camera locks up and I don't want to reboot my entire phone, the task killer becomes a necessity (no, Fast Reboot isn't an option, dislike).

Settings > Applications > Running Services or Manage Applications

No need for a task killer on these phones. :D

I'm on the side that says you don't need this things and if you have a bad app you should be removing it from your phone.
 
Agreed, like most I stand per se against task killers. I dont have one thats dedicated to that function. Obviously the stock task manager can do it as can SystemPanel which I have, but for me thats more diagnostics than task killing the way I use it
