Best way to use 7.7 as satnav?

Hi, does anyone have an idea of the best way to use a tab 7.7 as a satnav, either with pay as you go sim and google maps or with no sim and buy something like copilot app? Thanks Chris.

I use copilot and have no problems whatsoever. GM could eat your data allowance and depending on network coverage it could also be painfully slow to update. I think you may be able to cache the route with GM before you set out via WIFI but not sure how to do it.
