That is correct. ^^^

I can tell you some things it does that you could set on boot with Android Overclock App: Dalvik heap size 48, max events 95, wifi scan interval 180. I'm sure it does more like with syscti settings and stuff but I don't know what.

I have no idea what that stuff means but as long as my battery lasts longer its all cool. BTW does anyone know what theme kevmuller has in his screenshot?
 
You guys on CM7, what are you wifi sleep settings? Screen off, Never whilst charging, or Always On? Also, please describe your battery life.
 
Sorry but what do u mean about wifi settings?

Battery life is decent for me at least, 12 hrs with moderate usage usually. Im looking foreward to what the imoseyon tweaks do for the others phones.
 
Well, I know I said I wasnt going to screw around with the phone anymore but I did. This past week one of the family members had a stroke and Ive been racking up the hours at the hospital sitting bedside. During those endless hours the ol DX sees a lot of action and the battery life everyone is bitching about became super obvious to me. I got to looking at the files in my download folder and noticed ive updated CM7 more than 20 times since its beta debut and although its going to be good when completed,,, Im back on Apex2.0 with my beloved BWC theme. I know nobody cares, just venting my frustration I guess.

Sorry to hear that. Hope you family member is okay.

I meant the wifi sleep policy in Advanced settings in Wifi settings.

Always on. Otherwise the phone is hunting for 3G - why have it do that and waste battery if it's hooked up to a wifi connection and just sitting there?
 
Question - has anyone who's running this ROM updated the radio to .12? The phone is running so well I'm afraid to flash the upgrade and I'm not sure it's even worth the risk. Would love some feedback before I mess with the radio.
 
Do I still have to sbf back to 340 to get this rom? Im new to this. I rooted with z4 from froyo and then did the whole DROID 2 bootstrap tbh thing to get gingerbread... now im thinking of trying a rom and I don't know how... i've never sbf'ed before...
What do I need to do to get cm7?
 
OK. The bad battery life is definitely related to Wifi. I normally have my Wifi Sleep Policy set to "Never" but after setting it to "When screen turns off" I'm approaching 24hrs with well over 50% battery life remaining.

21 hours with 61% remaining (moderate use). This is without Imoseyon's tweaks.
I used to get about 20 hours battery life.

I did notice that under Spare Parts. My Wi-Fi is always 100% and Wi-Fi running is 99.9%.

I suspect the Wifi driver is not functioning properly. I'll load the GB or Froyo versions to test after my phone dies (want to see how long it'll last).

I think Wifi being 100% should be fine. It just means you had it turned on; doesn't mean it was in use. I'd look at wifi running instead.
 
For some reason after going to yesterday's nightly from build #6 I lost the fancy battery icon in the notification bar for the stock android one. I was wondering if anyone knew how to get the CM7 one back? I've tried each of the themes that comes with the phone and none of them work to bring it back.
