Root Beyond the Android Look?

[AndroidAdmire]

Hey Guys.
Has anyone ever gone beyond the Android OS feel and look? Like maybe a them that runs on android but looks like a whole new OS? Like iOS, or Windows Phone 7.5, or like Windows Mobile 6.5, or even a new type of layout. If this possible. How? I would like to create it!
Thank you!

just use Launcher 7 and WP7 notification . . . you can also get the WP7 lock screen, edit the mms.apk and there you go Windows 7
