Ok so first of all I want to say that I guess I might have been lucky but I havent really had any of the issues that have plauged many of my fellow Triumph owners. The only thing that really concerned me is my data speed. After a few days of research and some trial and error I have done two things that as of now I can say have boosted my data speeds enough to want to share.
The first thing I did was update my PRL as per this thread here . Now if you read through there is some debate as to whether or not this does anything at all. I and plenty of others can say it has. I am using Sprint PRL 01120 to 11114 changes - 07/17/2011, which seems to be the newest one.
The other thing I did was add this line to my prop.build file:
ro.product.rat=EvDo only
Now I tried my data several times with and without that line and when I removed it my data would drop down to about 80-120kb DL which is what I would normally get before applying any of this. Now with this Im getting between 600-900kb DL.
I tried my best to so my test in the same extract spot as close together as possible.
Im not here to argue and I don't think this is magic. I just wanted to share something that might work for someone else. Try it at your own risk.
Here is a link to the stock PRL incase anyone wants to switch back http://www.mediafire.com/?5lvyu57irj9w0db
