Ok, I have only had my phone for 3 months and the problem I have is that when I now turn my phone on, it will not go any further than the Android icon...it freezes and will not do a thing more. I do notice an odd clicking sound just befor the red light turns off when i power it on. I have tried the hard reset trick,(when turning on the device, hold the power button and the up key) and did a factory reset by taking out my SD card and when I turn it back on, same issue. How do I fix this? Anyone have a clue or similar issue? I remember I was trying to play the free Sims game and my phone froze on me just prior to the incident but, I was thinking with the hard reset, that the issue would have been resolved.

Have you messed with anything else?

I'm having the same problem. Started happening Wednesday. I can eventually get it to work with many many battery pulls. Very frustrating. I called ZTE customer service. They're useless.

While it has been doing that? No. And I agree with the other poster that the customer service that I was told to call on the matter have not been helpful either. I wonder, is there maybe a way to download the factory settings from a disk or something? I can still connect it to the USB port and it is recognized. I haven't been able to personally find such data however.

Mine doesn't do anything beyond just staying froze on the Android screen...I have tried the battery pull as well.

I left the battery out for 10 minutes. I'm not sure if that makes a difference, but I was able to get the phone to boot up. Some times it takes a few tries. Still a real pain. I wouldn't get this phone again. DLO: Did you get the recent update? I did. The problem seems to have started shortly after I updated. I'm not sure if there's a connection.

Have you tried using the reset button on the back of the phone instead of pulling the battery

We have nandroid backups that you can flash to your phone which will completely revert your phone back to stock and should solve your issues unless its a hardware problem.
