I decided to give up on the warp I now own the HTC evo v 4g from virgin mobile and am very pleased this phone will never see the light of cm7 or cm9 too many issues due to ZTE
 
They are the same size (screen anyway). My friend got the purple one and says he hates it (freezes) but I think the Best Buy rep screwed up his activation because we were there for over an hour trying to activate it. It looked like a good phone and I think it is better if you got a good one. I don't know what good 4G is though since they don't offer 4G in our area. Ice Cream 4.0 and a front facing camera are both better then the Warp but the phone is $300, and $55 monthly with no shrinkage...I think I'll pass.

Oh and it comes with a 8GB memory card which is nice.

My Warp is great, never rooted :). Good luck with the Evo 3D, it does seem like a pretty good phone.
 
Never seen a purple evo 3d before but this phone doesn't freeze up at all 4g is very fast service is great activated I'm seconds dual core processor rocks 1024 mb gpu very good on gaming
 
Yeah its a real dark purple, here's a link. Purple HTC EVO 3D headed to Best Buy | Ubergizmo . I never realized it had a dual core processor, that is nice. I wouldn't personaly go with purple but since its so dark it looks alright.

Btw, does yours have a Sprint logo on it too, his had that Sprint logo in the upper right hand corner above the screen like the picture in that link? I thought that was odd since its Virgin Mobile.
 
Yes mines is sprint branded all the way only VM apps and boot screen but with root and roms its like a sprint phone all the way call quality is amazing and speaker is loud with srs effects Dolby digital surround and beats

I think its time you change your screen name and start posting over there.just busting balls but I would ask admln if you can change your screen name.and glad you like your EVO.My warp is still running as smooth as ice and at Warp speed but I tire of things easey and will probably be updating in a few months about 5.

Lol yeah I think so...I just got tired of the crappy source code zte offered they are very poor programmers I think HTC is more well known and popular with their phones
 
Good to know but when you root your warp I have a lot of things on it beats audio some thing close to ics so.....ya I get what you mean the warp has problems but when you root it every thing is better:D
 
Rooting is a necessary evil. We have to make our phones the way we need them.. The way they SHOULD be. Just because you are happy with a phone the way you bought it doesn't mean it is the same way 6 months later when you are bored with your phone. By that time you will still have a badA$$ phone if still with the WARP and have so many ROMS to pick from and tweaks and adds you wont know what to choose from because they are so beastly. I hope you are happy with your new EVO, but just know.. We are far more advanced in developing and we have come so far here. You are losing out my friend. :(
