Bigger battery that doesn't need an extra backdoor

Just curious to see If anyone had heard of a bigger, possibly 1800 mah, battery possibly coming out some time in the near future. I know the incredible and the evo came out with the same size batt. Just wondering because I don't want to get a large extended battery with a back door. Its too big and bulky for me

I think i read somewhere else that HTCExperss would come out with a 1800ish one in the coming weeks. They've come out with bigger batteries for all the other HTC phones so I would be very optimistic they will release something as the thunderbolt suffers from battery issues and is a very popular phone.

I spoke with ChiChiTek from HTC Express and he said in the coming weeks they should have something "bigger" available and he would keep me updated. I assume it will be an 1800 because they already offer a 1500 and they've made an 1800 for numerous HTC devices already. To the OP, you saw my post in the other thread, about this same topic and even asked me for ChiChiTek's email address. Not sure why you had to start another thread about somethings that's been discussed and you already know the answer to?

I've personally never heard of htc express and didn't have much luck finding any reviews of them online. Can any senior members here vouch for their products? After the battery boss tests showing Mugen and Seidio batteries being a scam, I'm a bit wary...

Whoops... WormDoes, I just found your old review from your Incredible. Did you continue to have a good experience with the battery?

I just received my Seidio 1600 yesterday. I really jumped the gun in buying it I think, honestly I dont see 1400 and 1600 being that big a deal in a battery bump. Anyway some may be happy to know I have had my stock in since this morning at about 11am, after leaving the house with it fully charged, and after some pretty heavy use I'm holding at 75%! Hmm, Maybe that hard reset really did the trick.

Yea, it was great, never lost a step. I assumed I could use it with my Bolt and was extremely pissed to find out the Bolt's battery was smaller. I hope this new battery that's forthcoming is as good

I purchased a 1800 mah battery thru hct express for my Dinc and can attest it's the real deal. Very nice life vs the 1300 mah original battery..like an easy 12 hours with moderate use. Like today, streamed SkyFM for 2 hours straight, and had 50% left. Started out at 96%. Paid $19 for the battery. Figured if it didn't work I'd nail 'em thru my credit card company. So, yes, they are legit. :D

THink I will be waiting for HTCExpress. Now, I would really like to ask a senior developer from HTC and have them answer me why their phones' batteries have to be different??!!?!?!? I mean the EVO and Tbolt are built like the same phones but the batteries are millimeters apart in size. Is that REALLY necessary??
