Root Bionx (Project Closed)

If you saved your contacts to google like you should always do ;) they should sync as soon as you log into your Google account. If their saved to your sim card, manage that through the contact settings.

It appears that the sync now command pulled it from my Facebook account and not my google. I have quite a few people who are not in my google contacts but are friends on facebook. That explains why most of them do not have phone numbers.

I went ahead and tried this ROM last night and it wouldn't sync my contracts either. I didn't mess with it long to figure out what was wrong. I did go to account settings and there was no contacts check box at all.

Also the settings menu needs to be aligned. Some of the settings options are staggered from each other.

Other than that it looked like a great ROM. The theming was nice and it ran smooth. I just missed jelly bean to much.

Yikes, guess i better check it out than... Il have to see if the google partner setup is correctly working and double check syncing.

Android settings isnt complete yet and that might even have an affect on the sync settings. Il check it out soon.

Edit:
I seen my contacts correctly synced so i did a quick reflash and found my contacts syced but not all of them. I did see an error in the settings acure while debugging and running sync So that might be from my end? I run the device beside Moto devs logcat service and see if I can find where I did wrong and needs patched.

Right now I am working on the Bionx Dashboard a little. Working on a different kind of CPU tool, attempting a script processing tool, updated the wallpapers and wallpaper chooser ui, integrating device hidden preferences, and couple other things. Basically I want a stock rom to feel as if this tool will integrate cyanogenmod(s) for the user.

Anyways, good find guys. Thanks for the heads up

im not being rude but this rom is based off of eclipse, how i know is that the contact looks exactly the same, its not fully themed and the contacts doesn't snyc on eclipse either. i think you should credit nitro

wow....Phillip tell us what you really think and just flat out accuse him of stealing nitros work! really? so because one thing is similar between roms you can automatically draw a correlation between the 2? first off I don't think he would do that, and second if it was based off eclipse why wouldn't he specify that? it just seems like kinda serious statements to be throwing around.

Actually he stole nitros work before and didn't credit him. Nitro even tweeted about it couple months ago.

Contacts isn't exactly like eclipse. It is similar yes.

Phillip, matters like this are usually best settled through pm. If you had an issue with my kernel, I would expect a pm not being called out in the public forum. I think bionx deserves the same respect.

Here we go again -. -
Themeing and cleaning to be aosp will look like eclipse yes because nitros goal is AOSP as well. So similarities will be very close, extremely close indeed.

As for the twitter, it was alllllll over the Internet lol, my fame of the month. Being cooped up with the guy in trials at droidrzr. Com definitely gave me a good feedback on the guy. You dont want my opinion on the guy ;)

Anyways, think i found the bug in the contacts. Ran debugger tonight and looks like i fixed it. Il retheme it to since holo-light has some bad taste already. Il have to repatch the HoloEverywhere lib in the contacts.

So I found something else, I was running g this today and turned off data at my house cause I have some ungodly fast Wifi. Left for a short road trip and went to turn on data, it didn't come on. My fix was full wipe, flash cm10 rc2 and then back to this, I don't know why it happened, but I wanted to see if I could recreate the issue so i did the same once I was home, turned off data and Wifi on, then left my house and turned Wifi off and data back on, and no dice, so, I did a full wipe and got it back again and am using this rom again, I don't recommend turning data off. I tried the testing menu and several other things, I'm also not crediting cm10 rc2 for the fix. It was just the clean install. Probably would have worked with this rom or eclipse or sotard etc. Figured I'd let you all know(:

Altho i dont have an active spectrum, i do see where your coming from.
Il see what I can do. If these hickups continue just one after another, i might just start over on a jellybean base.

I ran a log and debugger last night while i had my Spectrum just do random processes, about 20 errors and force closes were noted. I gotta track every one down 0.o

Let me know if I can help with anything.

Okey, main goal right now is rebuilding AOSP. Im currently trying to get power menu working correctly (Nothing fancy) and produce a nexus like build. Basically using TDMs build as a base but rebuilding as much as possible from source and enhancing the android environment.
I might release the base as a beefed up Aosp build but whp knows.
So, all in a nut shell. Be patient on this build. Alot of work todo on my end.

Btw, whats the spectrums screen size? I wanna make some splash images.

I believe it's 1280x720. It's 720p resolution so if all else fails, you can google what it is.
