Bitbop

Has anyone used Bitbop? The ad(?) on my Thunderbolt was enough to make me curious about it but I'm not that gullible to believe everything I see. I tried Googling it and really couldn't find much about it. The only info I found was that you could watch 3 shows per week for free or pay $9.99 per month for more. Is it really worth the download and/or price? If not, does anyone know of a cheaper(by that I mean free) alternative?

Thanks!!! :D

i had bitbop on my thunderbolt when i got my phone, i have been using it daily watching several shows a day. works great, and seems to be completely free. Ive had it for 2 weeks now and have not been asked for any payment info. So i guess for now its free for unlimited use.

Glad to hear Bitbop is working well for you on your Thunderbolt! We have a free-trial time period that lasts 7 days, whereupon it should switch to a subscription period. If it is still streaming shows for free, perhaps you may have an issue with the service in general. Nevertheless, we are extremely pleased to hear about another positive experience with the application. Let me know if you have any suggestions or concerns -- we always value the input of our user-base.

Is that DroidStreamer app gone? I remember having it a while back. Then my sister changed all my settings and froze my phone up and i had to reboot the phone back to the factory setting and when i tried to download the app again it was gone. It was nice too had movies and tv shows all for free.

I do believe all the great t.v./movie apps are now gone from the market. Luckily I cashed in on them while they were still in existence. I am assuming apps like Netflix and hulu ran the others away. If you ask me the others were/ are just as good, at least the ones I still have. It beats paying a monthly subscription. The ones I have were just a low one time fee.

I really liked the Droidstreamer app. Yeah it didnt have a HUGH selection but there was always something on there for me to watch plus it was free. Im a little pissed by it being gone do to the fact that NetFlix wont even let me log on for some stupid reason.
