Root black screen on restore?

Alright I tried incdoes 3D and I want to go back to my nandroid, but i tried restoring to it and it just gives me a black screen after the Droid inc screen... What is wrong? I reflashed inc does after that and it worked fine. How can i get back to my backup??

How old is your nandroid and more specifically...any chance you were on an older hboot version when you created that nandroid backup? Did you recieve any specific errors during the nand restore process?

Wow I feel dumb. Come to think of it I hade version 3. Something when I did my backup but the ROM wouldn't work with it so i had to downgrade to 2.5 so I bet thats the problem. Lol I will update and try to restore again i bet it fixes the problem. Thanks for opening my eyes
