Root Blank Phone

My Esteem's ROM got completely wiped out. Already replaced it with a new phone...expensive lesson learned. My new one is rooted with just basic root apps now LOL. Now to my old phone. Is it salvageable, or just dead paperweight?

When you get your new one you will now have an extra battery + the screen digitizer alone is selling for bout $80-90 on Ebay. Enjoy your weekend

LOL yeah that's what I thought too. Gonna do more reading up on this root stuff before I go exploring again. Was considering trying to boost the power by changing the ROM, but that's where I ran into problems the first time. The GSE II zip didn't show up on my sdcard when I tried to install it. I think I'll just enjoy the basic stuff on my root for a while longer LOL.

this kinda happened to me.. i tryed to flash a rom and it showed the lg logo then a blank screen after that.. i had a backup thank god so i backed up but i think you can just reflash a different rom... can you even get into CWR? i might be wrong but this was kinda similar to what happened to me.

while still holding the volume buttons hit the power button about three times.

while holding both volume buttons hold down power button at the same keep holding until u c the lg logo once lg logo comes on let go the power button but keep holding the volume button down another screen is gonna appear asking to reset phone hit the power button once then its gonna ask u to confirm hit the power button again then it should go to cwm

I feel like your phone is salvageable if you try hard enough, everyone here will be happy to help you out, do you have all your drivers installed?

Keep trying, it's tricky to get into recovery if you hold power button too long and/or ease up pressure on the others...

Have you tried booting it into recovery (hold both volume buttons while powering up)?
