Root BlissPop-v4.0.1-x5-UNOFFICIAL

Heyo Mofo, I've been a user of this rom for a long time - and I love it. It's Snappy, clean, and does what it's supposed to... EXCEPT FOR ONE THING: I cannot play videos of any type higher than 360p on it. Recorded videos? Nope. Videos on websites? Nope. Youtube? Nope. Snapchat? Nope. Twitch? Nope. There is no video playback for any videos higher than 360p quality and I recieve an error: "This Video Could/Cannot Be Played". HELP! I want

It's a known issue...
 
so what is the exact cause of the camera and video problens? i know its not just our device. i see it on tons of devices using anything custom rom wise kit kat and above.
 
Ah ok. Was curious. Trying everynkind of camera port I can find abd either the video doesnt work,the camera doesnt work or both.

Yeah. And somehow it only affects certain Volts and not others. I have two of them (one I use as a GPS/Spotify streamer in my car after tethering it to my other Volt) and one has a perfectly working camera while the other is plagued with the green tint and no video.
 
Im going to look for a camera and video app seperate from each other. Got Opencamera working well except video portion. Its camera is perfect. Now for a decent video recorder app that isnt laden with goofy interfaces and ads lol
 
By the way just asking, is there any chance to get fixed nfc,camera & other issue. 100% stable release.
 
Hello Guys, How r u all?.

I just Installed this rom, and I see it has two Cameras and both of them working, May I delete one of them, or Do I have to keep both, so can work?

i'm pretty sure you don't need both, should be safe to delete one of them. if it causes any harm you could always reflash rom. :)

Added some DRM stuff to vendor tree.
Hopefully fixed Vine & Snapchat video issues.
Switched SElinux to permissive by default
Haven't had any issues with LTE(so if you do, I'm sorry)
I'm on VirginMobile but choose SprintLTE APN(didn't flash APN fix)

Reboot to recovery and flash newly downloaded Gapps zip

I just got this rom tonight and I love it! Finally no lag on my volt! Thanks to the developers. Everything is working great, but the camera. The green tint is driving me nuts. Is there any type of fix yet at all? Temporary or permanent?

No and camera issues are well known and universal in all ROMs for this phone sorry but if you find a fix let us know
