Root Blkkangbluecircbat theme for Fission 2.1 gone final (?)

It's working pretty good for me now, theres just a couple minor things.

<--- the blue bar at the top is not quite right on this screen.

The Plain Android Icon for the Gallery is kinda lame (lower left shortcut), and the icon for the music player is kinda misleading (Blue Folder Icon next to the file browser)

Menu is readable, but I think it would be much cooler if it was made to be transparent, or black with some rounding/shading etc, ). I'm not sure what you ended up doing for this or, if it even uses images so maybe that is not possible. Or maybe you could do black background for them with blue where the gray is now if the blue is not from an image file. Just throwing some ideas out there.

currently im running a transparent menu bar (per your suggestion) and trying it out....
 
Any of those look good to me :) I need to find a free moment to learn some of this myself, I'd be happy to help where I can.

I grabbed the LauncherPro theme and I'm working on getting a decent swipe keyboard to match. Here's a screenshot of this great theme combined.

It would look better with the blue one, so maybe I'll give it a shot, but even this one looks better than the stock one IMO.

BTW, my music players buttons are not blue! Is that part of the downloadable theme?

oh man, that looks sick....and the keyboard is def. better then stock....:D

the add on for the blue musci player buttons was pretty recent, you may be running an older version?

i believe it was on the link aggie 12 put up? im playing with gimp, it has opened up the transparency otpion.....this changes a lot of stuff....:D

download on with the clock, the most recent the beter....i put a fix
in (another thanks to aggie12) to give all 10% increments.

- use 7zip and open (double click) the downloaded theme
- go to system, framework, framework res, res, drawablle hdpi (v4 or whatver)
- click name to put them in alphabetical and then scroll to "stat sys battery.xml"....now highlight that .xml from there down to "stat sys charge anim 5 .png"

-then open another instance of 7zip and do the same opening procedure with the theme you want....once you find the say things i told you to highlight in prvious; highlight those and delete them (right click, delete)
- now drag/drop the highlighted ones from the first 7zip over to the theme you want to keep....they'll copy over and replace the old bat. set up.

back out and click "ok" at the pop up....then install and test....

if you cant get it, post me a link to the theme you want to add it to.

I grabbed the Rom with the battery fix, I th ink you had already posted the blue buttons. Maybe one of the other things I re-installed over the top of it changed them back? The only thing I can think may have done this is the DX Camera install though?

I probably won't re-install just for those couple buttons cause then I might end up having to install Launcher Pro and Keyboards again. I'm really happy with FIssion, your Theme and these add in's etc. It's a much better experience than the stock DX, thats for sure!

I'm pretty sure thats just copy and paste, since you would have access to an already modded xml file, nothing complicated needs to be done.

yeah, im really enjoying it as well....its getting pretty interesting....:)
i think i posted up the radio mod after the bat fix....not sure. still no reason to mess with it as its still work in progress.
gimp has proved very interesting, some things it'll color, others only black or white....but holds transparency. ill put up some pics experimenting here shortly.

any chance of a link to where you got the swype and launcher....especially the swype....id like to see if i can work them in....

What is the pop up bar background.

I'm not good with Photoshop, but I understand better what is going on now that you got me started. The entire background for the menu is one image, that is dynamically resized. So that limits what can be done with it. heres something I tossed together. I wanted to batch process all the image Icons (need to adjust color I know!) but for some reason Photoshop has trouble opening the gray menu icons. They open all funky . I don't know what is going on but if I can't edit those images I'll just have to leave them gray.

this is what happened to me each time I pulled a png from a theme to edit it on photoshop. I really wish I knew how to fix it otherwise I have to build icons from stock. Any ideas LMK.

and Faber, this theme is looking really nice! Digging the blue!
 
It's strange cause I changed the icon of the Search button, but it still shows up gray. Is there an easy way to figure out what icon the search IS using? Same thing for the Notify icon.

And I can't even find the preferences icon in the same apk. is android really written this sloppy? I mean it would make the most sense to have all the images in one place I would never write code like that to pull images from all over the place.

I opened the Wallpaper icon in paint, and saved it as PNG, then went into photoshop again and removed all the white, then I think you can then make it slightly transparent and it wold look ok? I might try downloading gimp and seeing if gimp can open the image, then re-save and open with photoshop.

I wonder if I got the images from the stock APK instead of one that had already been themed if they would open?
