Root Bloat Freezer vs Titanium Backup

I am using the Bloat Freezer app on my rooted Bionic. I have only frozen apps which the threads have said to be okay to freeze. I do not intend to use any other Roms or leaks; I only root to to remove bloat. I noticed that most members use Titanium Backup. Is it worth it for me to unfreeze all of the frozen apps, download TiBu and re-freeze, or is it okay to stay with Bloat Freezer? Btw, I rooted with Motofail. Thanks.

If all you are going to do is freeze bloat the there is no need to switch. If you ever plan on flashing roms or leaks than I would recommend getting Titanium Backup to back up all your apps and data.

Thanks! I'm going to wait for the OTA ICS, so I guess this saves me an hour worth of extra work!

Just so you know ICS gives you the ability to freeze bloatware from within the built in Applications Manager, so if all your interested in is freezing it and not uninstalling it you will have that ability built in.

Not all apps can be frozen from within ICS, though.

True but it gives you the ability to freeze some of the safe and most offensive ones absolutely free.

Offensiveness is in the eye of the beholder - I have 3 apps I absolutely do not want to run, and I cannot disable them - I have to use a 3rd party app to freeze them to prevent them from running.

I'm on. 232 and I can't find the Application Manager.

it built in. if you select menu and select manage apps your in. to disable an app you have to select it and then disable it. You might have to uninstall the update first from the same screen.
