Root Bloatware advice before I uninstall?

What about the play crap? Play books, games, music, movies/television, and newsstand are all worthless to me. And can anyone explain what Qualcomm izat is? Also safe to uninstall?

you can delete all of that.
and the qualcomm izat in my opinion would be safe to remove.. it just automatically fixes your network connection to the best one.
for example you have 3g turned on but the phone detects 4G itll switch to 4G
or wifi if found.
i wouldnt delete it just in case.
unless it gives you the option without being rooted. then that usually means it is safe.

Rarewolf, I live in a rural backwater red neck town. We don't have your fancy "4g" Lol. And I'm a broke bastard , so I don't have Wi-Fi. Goodbye Qualcomm izat, hello inkling more memory and storage space 😄

You're a tad off on this... You just described the connections optimizer. Lzat enhances location accuracy over mobile networks and Wi-Fi.

If you don't want to use it, that's fine, turn it off and freeze it if you want, but I wouldn't remove it. At the very least, hang on to a backup.

This has further confused me... accuracy over mobile networks? Accuracy of what?

Location, and I don't think it increases accuracy, I think what it does is sends data from Wi-Fi and mobile networks to Qualcomm to help advance the accurateness of their software/hardware. But I could be wrong. Connections optimizer on the other hand, for those of you wondering, is basically just an app that enables Wi-Fi and connects to an open network whenever it detects one nearby. Personally, I think it's a waste of resources as I'm perfectly capable of finding hotspots and turning my Wi-Fi on and off whenever it's in or out of use.

Location services improved by mobile and/or Wi-Fi networks. It does send them data as well, but that is a secondary function.

As for connections optimizer, it does more than 'turn on Wi-Fi'. It is supposed to detect which data mode, be it Wi-Fi, 3G, LTE, etc, has the best service at a given time and switch to it. I agree it's a waste of resources, especially since it doesn't work well, but at least get its purpose correct.
