Help Bloatware Back After dl09!!! Can't Get Rid of Them!?

Loving SuperClean, real lean rom without any bloatware, and GPS is working like a stud.

Only problem I've run into is Bluetooth not working at all. Anyone have any ideas what could be wrong and how to fix it? Everything looks normal, but Blue Tooth just won't turn on, just wait and wait for it to turn on then nothing...

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

I had the same problem after flashing the regular clockwork (CWMRecovery.tar) mod. BT just would not turn on... The only way I found around it was to use the CWMRecovery_DJ05_DL09.tar.md5 file and following the exact instructions in this thread http://androidforums.com/fascinate-...-rooting-fascinate-regardless-os-version.html

The side effect is now I have to flash the CWMRecovery_DJ05_DL09.tar.md5 file EVERY TIME I want to use CWM for backups for whatever. The good news is it only takes a minute to hook it up, flash it and be ready to do what I need it to do.

The reason is I allowed the DL09 update to come in via OTA, and it appears to be a known issue that the update messes with the update.zip somehow.

I hope this helps you!

Have you flashed a new kernel onto your phone? If not, you should look into it, as this is the reason you need to reflash CWM everytime. The stock DL09 kernel seems to be sneaky and remove CWM from the phone.

If you want, you can probably use adrynalyne's generic kernel from the very bottom of this post:
Modified CWMrecovery for Odin (DJ05/DL09) Plus new root instructions (Updated 1/15) - xda-developers

Underneath where it says "Kernel Download"

Yes, I am going to try that soon.

Thanks!!

Just did the flash with that kernel. worked like a charm! And now CWM works as it should again. I notice the GPS takes a bit longer to lock on now... Is there a better kernel you guys can recommend?
