Root Blockbuster app...

Anyone else having problems removing the BB app? I deleted it through TiBu just like all the other bloatware apps, however the BB app is still there (the others are gone). It doesn't show in TiBu and I can't find anything in Root Explored when I go into System/Apps. I did reboot after I deleted the BB app.

Anyone have any ideas?

In root explorer you can go to system/app and create an app.disable folder and move all the bloat to that folder or you can rename the app from whateverit'sname.apk to whateverit'sname.bak or xxxxxx.bak

Just be forewarned, if you plan on receiving ANY of the updates that verizon pushes out (including gingerbread), you will need all this blaot to be on the phone or it will not update. There are ways around this, like just flash a ROM that already includes the update (developers usually get the updated files before vzw pushes them anyways), I just wanted people to know.

That's why I create the app.disable folder, that way if I ever want an update, I can move it all back to system/app and run the update.

Correct, you can also just freeze the apps in TiBu. It does pretty much the same thing. :)
