Help Blown speaker replacement - Help needed

Ok, so I have blown the speaker. Found some OE parts like this item on Ebay item: 151034510945 how hard would this be to do? Also saw just the speaker listed too, if that would be easier. Thanks in advance.

And the reason you wouldn't just take the phone that Has To Still Be under warranty in to Metro for a warranty replacement would be??

I'm worried they will just try to replace it. Hate to have to from scratch.. Does metro do repair work on phones?

I am not much of a hardware guy, so can anyone who has seen the phone opened up please tell me if it is like a ribbon cable or do I need to solder in a new speaker. Some images would be great. I hate to tinker on my phone if I can't afford a new one.

Dont know about repair work, but i doubt it. They will most likely replace it. If youre worried about starting from scratch, make a backup.

That's a perfect reason to take it back to metro.

I would listen to totlth on this one. You run the risk of fudging up other things on your phone by doing this.

If you do a nandroid backup, your new phone would be a carbon copy of your old phone(no starting from scratch)

If you need help, I will step you through the process of backing up and then getting you're phone back to stock so you can bring it back to the metro store. Just P.M.(personal message) me if you need help.

Just don't screw up your phone, Cause once you open it up, it voids the warranty.
