Root Blue boot screen

Bouchigo I'm making this new thread because somehow I don't think you're gonna see my other one on that already quite extensive one....lol.

I have a request. I would like to have the boot screen I have now with the Gb .595 but I would like to have it in all blue. Would that be possible to do?

I put your BWC theme back in and omg Thank you for that. I was going nuts without it. Would it be possible to do that? I'll carrier pigeon you a whole case of beer for it.....lol

I thought jonathan gave you a link to that blue boot animation......yes it can be done.
 
Yes he did but that's not what i'm looking for. That boot screen just says "yesterdays Droid" to me. I like the look of this bootscreen on the .595 but would love it more if it were blue.


EDIT: i'm trying to d/l all the tools I need to learn how to make themes on my own but my god it looks complicated right now. Not to mention the Android tools wont install. It's telling me i need java tools. I have java installed but yet it still wont let me install the Android tools.

I don't even remember what the .595 boot animation looks like :p

EDIT:
I pulled the boot animation from the deodexed .595 zip and it looks the same as the one jonathan linked you to, except it's red. Am I missing something???
 
Hmm...that's strange. Maybe the .595 kept the boot animation from the .591? On mine? I wish I had a way to take a pic of it to show you but my phone is the only camera I have.

EDIT: Ok. I looked inside the zip and no, thats not it. Let me look through the past leaks and try and find away to get you an image.

EDIT 2: Scratch that idea. i dont have the right tools.

EDIT3: Bouchigo sorry for putting you through this but being a noob at this i have no idea what to do. The only thing I can suggest is look at the "Red Glowing Droid Eye LWP" in the market. That is VERY similar to the boot screen I'm talking about.

btw...just wanted to say i had forgotten how much the Droid Pro boot animation would have made so much more sense as the X animation...

You're talking about the Droid Pro boot animation, that's the one I use in BWC.

I agree, that's one of the reasons I like using it :D
 
yup that's it Bouchigo. that's the one on my phone now and it looks so much better than that old red round boot eye. can you change that animation to all blue?

EDIT: I never knew what they called that animation. that's why I had such a hard time trying to identify it to you.

Maybe someone that is good with photshop or something can do it.....that's too much work for me, and I'm not that good with photoshop either.
 
sigh....working on it...it might take some time...ive got a decent effort right now...but to get it too look right im having to push contrast a lot and its causing a lot of "banding" in the color...

Edit: switched tactics...might be having better results...

Edit Again: Yeah...think i might have nailed it...but its gonna take a month lol
 
well damn. I don't want people to be going through all that kinda trouble for the likes of me. dont do it if its that much work.

this is the main reason why I'm trying to learn how to do my own theming. I don't want to trouble people like that....lol
 
done!...SOMETIMES i love photoshop...turned out to be quicker than i thought once i got going...

And that is one of the reasons I didn't want to do it, I knew it was going to take forever :D

Sometimes I wish I knew how to use photoshop, but I just don't have the time, and I guess what's more important, the "desire" to learn how to use it :p
 
I know how to use photoshop. I just don't have a firm grasp on the other programs I need to use for making themes. Sh*t, as a matter of fact, I just figured out how to install droid tools. nevermind how to use them.....lol
