Root Bluetooth and Rooting problems

Hi
i am having a problem with my lg optimus v when trying to turn off the bluetooth. everytime i turn off bluetooth the phone freezes and reboots. i have tried turning it off through the settings and through the power control widget, and still the same results. i thought it was from the root so i decided to go unroot it through gingerbreak. it wasnt the problem so as i went back to root it again the phone wont root. it just continues to say rooting your phone will reboot.
i am running 2.2.2 on an lg optimus v and using gingerbreak 1.2
Thanks

Check in your app drawer and see if you have the superuser app. If yes download a terminal emulator from the market and open it up. Type in: su (then hit the enter key) if you get a $ your not rooted try the gingerbreak.apk again (it might take several tries until it boots up into the ROM on it's own). You need to reboot the phone on every failed attempt(pulling battery and starting from scratch counts as a reboot). If it does not reboot into the ROM after 12 minutes, pull battery.

If you got a # then your rooted. Download a fresh ROM and Gapps and flash them after properly wiping and formatting everything that's required.

Most probably a corrupt download. Download AFV (Android File Verifier) v1.8
When you go to the BACKside ROM thread go to the first post and where the download links are for the ROM and Gapps you will find the md5 sums. Write them down.
After you download with your phone the ROM and Gapps will be in the download or downloads folder.
Open up the AFV app and hit select file. It should go straight to the folder with the ROM and Gapps. Long press the ROM.zip and choose the first option. When done it will display the md5 sum of the zip. If they match your good, if not delete and try downloading again.
When in the BACKside ROM thread first post, look at and follow the steps for installing the ROM and Gapps to the T.

This is a product of the corrupt download of the ROM or not wiping and formatting properly.
I'm going to merge this with your other thread as this is a rooted problem not a stock problem.
It will be solved with a good ROM and gapps properly wiped and formatted.

Have patience. Read through the post several times. What you will be doing is installing a Good ROM and Gapps. One that is not corrupt. Making sure that everything that needs to be wiped and formatted(cleared) gets done. If there is any residual data left behind it can corrupt the ROM.
The other thing you can not do is download system apps or data. Check all the apps that are in the app draw once the new ROM installs. Do not install these from any source what so ever. Do not install any system data from any source what so ever. If you install any of these you will corrupt the ROM.

If you have any question on the ROM and Gapps install just ask.

What recovery do you have?

You need a custom recovery.
If your going to flash the BACKside ROM and Gapps then you will need the VM670NH recovery. Go back to the link I gave you and read everything. The Download link for the recovery is there. The install code is there. Just don't type in line # 3 and 4 of the code.

Don't forget to rename the recovery.
